National air liner carried 10% more passengers from Moscow to Montenegro and vice-versa during May than in the same period last year. That trend has continued in June as well, so we expect that the number of carried passengers will be increased by 5 to 7% in comparison with the last year.

Despite strong competition and large number of Russian airlines operating from Russia to Montenegro and well-known political situation in Ukraine, Montenegro Airlines records positive booking for July and August. All of the above mentioned confirms our expectations regarding increase of carried passengers and tourists in comparison with the last year.

The market of Russia, especially Moscow, has been one of the strategic points on the map of destinations towards which Montenegro Airlines operates, since 2007 when the air-bridge with Moscow was established.

Everyday presence, reflected in numerous daily flights to Moscow, the representation office in this town over many years, speak for the importance of this market and destination not only for our company, but for the overall tourism industry of Montenegro.

During the summer season, Montenegro Airlines will operate towards Moscow and St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Rostov.
