Montenegro Airlines Summer Timetable

On 31 March Montenegro Airlines started operations according to the summer timetable which will be valid until 25 October 2014. The main characteristic of the summer timetable is the increased number of flights to all existing destinations, and the introduction of flights to London, Copenhagen and Dusseldorf, as well.

According to the summer timetable, Montenegro Airlines planes shall operate two daily flights from Podgorica to Belgrade, and up to four daily flights from Tivat to Belgrade. Montenegro will be connected with the Austrian capital on a daily basis during summer season, and on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays there will be two flights in cooperation with Austrian Airlines.

With regard to other destinations, there will be 6 weekly flights to Zurich, and five flights per week to Frankfurt. The national airline's planes will operate to Rome three times per week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and flights towards this destination will be also performed on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays in cooperation with Alitalia, the Italian air company. Flights to Ljubljana will be operated six times per week in cooperation with Adria Airways, the Slovenian company.

This summer season, as well as in the previous year, we shall maintain the same number of flights to Moscow and Paris, destinations with continuous growth of the number of passengers for years. Daily operations have been scheduled towards these two metropolises, and on some days even four daily flights.

Along with the introduction of summer flight schedule, operations towards London will restart, as well. The first flight towards London will be performed on 30 April 2014, and flights towards this destination will be operated from Tivat three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Reintroduced flights towards Copenhagen will start on 17 May, twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

After being discontinued for several years, as per demand of the tourism industry, operations towards Dusseldorf will be launched twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting from 19 April. Charter flights will be operated according to the standard schedule to Bari and Napoli, on Fridays and Sundays alternatively, in the afternoon hours.

Flights towards St. Petersburg will be operated once a week on Saturdays, and for the first time flights towards Rostov and Kaliningrad in Russia will be introduced at the request of the Charterers.

During pre-season and season numerous flights towards France (Mulhouse, Dijon), Azerbaijan (Baku) and Armenia (Yerevan) will be operated.

Busy flight schedule speaks for the fact that the national airliner will give its full contribution to the development of Montenegrin tourism, as in previous years.
