Paris, October 2009. Montenegro Airlines organized a press cocktail party that was attended by numerous guests who are prominent in French cultural and public life. The aim was to present the company, fleet and plans for the coming winter season. Chairman of Montenegro Airlines, Zoran Djurisic, announced that this month the company would celebrate its 15th anniversary.
He was happy to announce that the airline had become the leader in their region and definitely had an attractive offer for the French.
Montenegro Airlines has 7 planes, 5 Fokker 100s and 2 Embraer 195s. The Embraer 195 represents one of the most modern among mid-sized planes.
The plan is to buy 2 more Embraer 195s in the near future.
The company operates regularly scheduled flights from Montenegro to Frankfurt, Zurich, Paris, Rome, Vienna, Moscow, Skopje, Pristina, Belgrade and London.
Since 2003, the company has scheduled regular flights to Paris, landing at Charles de Gaulle International Airport, terminal 2.
Mr Djurisic pointed out that the airline had flown 130 flights and 14 000 passengers to Paris during the first eight months of this year, which is significantly more in comparison to the same period last year.
The chairman of the company stated that the airline was undertaking additional efforts to make prices competitive and added that Montenegro Airlines had prepared many promotional offers for this market, which is of high importance to Montenegro Airlines.
