                                   Donation to Public Institution “Komanski Most”

On 24th October 2007 company Montenegro Airlines celebrated its 13th anniversary. On this occasion a press conference was held in Hotel Podgorica, and Mr. Andrija Lompar, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Telecommunications, Mr. Predrag Nenezic, Minister of Tourism and Environment Protection, and Mr. Zoran Djurisic, President of the Board of Directors of Montenegro Airlines, addressed numerous guests.



With congratulations on this important jubilee to all company's employees, as well as all passengers, Mr. Djurisic reflected the period of establishing the airline “when only few people believed in this project. Still, the enthusiasts showed their willingness to face the challenges and successfully complete one of the most complex projects in the history of Montenegro. Today, Montenegro Airlines is one of the most successful airlines in the South-East Europe, which has transported more than 2 700 000 passengers and whose planes land at more than 50 airports throughout Europe.”



Montenegro Airlines operates scheduled flights to Frankfurt, Zurich, Paris, Rome, Budapest, Vienna, successfully establishing an air bridge between Montenegro and Europe. The scheduled flights to St. Petersburg and Moscow have been established recently, and proved as very successful.



The acquisition of new, most modern aircraft type Embraer 195, will enable the conquerring of new, more distant markets, first of all London, thus Montenegro will be connected to all significant centers in Europe, which is the main precondition of the development of Montenegrin economy.














On the occasion of its anniversary, in accordance with its practice – donating funds to institutions in need, the company provided donation in the amount of 7.000,00 Eur, to the specialized institution for children and youth “Komanski most” in Podgorica. On behalf of Montenegro Airlines, Mr. Nenad Markovic, company's PR, presented the donation to Mr. Vuk Mirkovic, Director of the institution.
