Montenegrin tourist economy was presented for the first time at the Brussels trade fair “Salon des vacances”, held in the period 9^th - 13^th February. At the Montenegrin booth, Tourist Organization of Montenegro, Montenegro Airlines, Plantaze, Budvanska rivijera, Montenegro Stars, Niksicko pivo, and many other companies, presented themselves to the Belgian public for the first time.

Besides  the press conference, at which Serbia and Montenegro Ambassador to Belgium Mrs. Milica Pejanovic Djurisic, Minister of Tourism in the Government of Montenegro Mr. Predrag Nenezic and director of Tourist Organization of Montenegro Mr. Vojin Vlahovic addressed the present, a presentation of Montenegrin national cuisine was also organized.

According to Minister Nenezic, 4.000 guests from Belgium shall visit Montenegro, which is very good for the beginning.   

Montenegro Airlines, as the strategic partner of the Ministry of Tourism and Tourist Organization of Montenegro, is an important link between Montenegro and many European destinations. During last year, 20% of transported Montenegro Airlines passengers were actually tourists.
