As the end of another business year approaches, Montenegro Airlines summarizes the results of its operations, which will be assessed as very successful according to the indicators.
The operations of Montenegro Airlines feature significant positive effects, and first of all the rise in the number of transported passengers. This number in the first nine months of this year has increased for 33% compared to the same period last year. The average load factor of the passenger cabin in the first nine months last year was 67%, while in 2005, for the same period, amounted 77%. This trend evidently continues, and it is expected that Montenegro Airlines shall transport 500000 passengers by the end of current year. This will represent the company’s record.
Although the rise of costs in aviation is evident, the increased number of passengers causes the increase of Montenegro Airlines income. The expected income for 2005 is 50 million dollars, which compared to previous year represents the increase of 25%.
This is the fourth year in a row that Montenegro Airlines ends with positive financial balance, keeping the rate of growth in the passenger number at the average annual rise of 30%.
