In Deauville, France, a prestige European tourist fair was held in the period 22nd – 24th September. At this fair Montenegro was presented to the French public for the first time. Mr. Predrag Nenezic, Minister of tourism and Dr Zoran Djurisic, President of Montenegro Airlines headed Montenegrin delegation.
Top Resa trade fair in Deauville is special because it is organized particularly for professionals in the fields of tourism and air traffic, who present their offer and demand in direct contacts. The summer season, the results of which are already being summarized, gave very good results concerning French tourist market. As opposed to previous years, in this year the number of French tourists has increased significantly. According to the statistic results of the Ministry of Tourism, by the end of this year the number of French tourists, staying in Montenegro, is expected to be around 10,000.
Montenegro, as air destination, is a country of great tourist potentials and is becoming more and more attractive tourist destination for French tourists, who have a developed travel culture. Montenegro Airlines is ready to answer all requests regarding air traffic.
The representatives of Montenegro Airlines and Ministry of tourism have decided, within the already established strategic partnership which is based on the promotion of Montenegro, to take active part in the trade fair. Within these activities Minister Nenezic and Dr Djurisic shall consider the possibility of opening a joint representative office, which will be accommodated at the already established Montenegro Airlines office in Paris (140 Avenue des Champs Elysees).
As the organizers have announced, the participation of well-known tourist brands is expected at the fair, including the representatives of the leading world airlines.
