The national Greek football team that won the first place in the European Football Championship “Euro 2004” in Portugal, started its trip on May 28, 2004, with an aircraft of Montenegro Airlines. The Greek football players surprised all football fans and succeeded, for the first time, to place in the finals and to win the championship “Euro 2004”.
For this reason, the Board of Directors of Montenegro Airlines congratulated them with the results achieved and offered them a free return flight to Athens, with our aircraft. However, this was not realized, as the Greek football players had to be greeted with “national honors”. The officer responsible for organizing the trip of the Greek team sent a letter of thanks to the Company for high professionalism and quality of services. Satisfied with the cooperation, they are already negotiating charter flights to Prague, Tirana and Kiev.
