The Aircraft of Future in your Everyday Life
Podgorica 8th June 2008. The new airplane in the fleet of Montenegro Airlines, aircraft type Embraer 195, landed on Podgorica Airport, which marked the beginning of new era in the development of the national carrier.
On this occasion, at Airport of Podgorica, the press cocktail was organized for numerous guests and persons from political and public life, numerous representatives of local and international media, and workers of Montenegro Airlines.
Dr Zoran Đurišić, President of Montenegro Airlines, Dr Andrija Lompar, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Telecommunications in the Government of Montenegro, and Mr. Patrice Candaten, Sales Manager of Embraer for Europe and Asia, addressed the present guests at the press conference.
The arrival of new aircraft in Montenegro completes the first part of the agreement with Embraer Company concerning the fleet renewal. Stating his pleasure to have completed the first phase of the agreement, Dr Zoran Djurišić stated that he was proud that one of the most modern commercial aircraft was now part of Montenegro Airlines fleet, and added that in the next couple of days that aircraft would be operated on commercial flights.
Dr Andrija Lompar said that the experience of Montenegro Airlines with aircraft type Foker 100, was the guarantee that the new aircraft was in the safe hands and that it would benefit the reputation of Montenegro Airlines. The new aircraft will be named the "Independence Day".
Embraer’s Sales Manager said that the cooperation with Montenegro Airlines was very successful, and that today was the great day for Embraer. "We are very proud of the fact that Montenegro Airlines chose us in their fleet selection", stated Mr. Candaten.
Embraer 195, member of Embraer E-jets family, is recognizable by its sophisticated and extraordinary performances. This aircraft has 116 comfortable seats, four at each row, wider aisle, and bigger baggage compartment. The most modern technical-technological solutions in the cockpit represent the latest technological work-of-art and these aircraft are called "the aircraft of 21st century" with right.
